When I was little, every time my grandma Joyce would pick me up for the weekend she would be playing Carrie Underwood. I even remember watching her on American Idol with my grandma the whole entire season it was on. I started to like her a lot and that is all my grandma and I would listen to every time we were in the car or just hanging out. Every year I got the new Carrie Underwood c.d. for my birthday and eventually had every album of hers. I actually got tickets to one of her concerts for my birthday one year too. It was my very first concert and I had a lot of fun with my grandma.
I love all of her albums and songs and I don't think I have a favorite but I really like the song 'Jesus Take The Wheel' just because I can remember being in the car with my grandma and her singing that song so loud I thought it was going to break the windows. The chorus was her favorite part which she sang very loud and proud "Jesus, take the wheel, take it from my hands, cause I can't do this on my own, I'm letting go, So give me one more chance, and save me from this road I'm on, Jesus take the wheel" We would have our own concert in the car every weekend. I like to listen to her music when I'm upset or going through something because I feel like it helps me through things. Her lyrics are kind of like advice to me.
This is the first album that she came out with in 2005 and
this is the first one I received for my birthday.
