Music to me helps me explain all the moods I have. Depending on what I listen to shows my different moods. Music is like my mood ring. I'm not very good with expressing myself with words so I use music to help do that. Country music is one genre that means the most to me. It helps remind me of my grandparents. They are from the south and live out in the middle of no where. Listening to the songs talk about country help me think about them more often. Which helps me remember that I haven't talked to them for awhile and that I need to call them. Rodney Adkins is one musician that helps bring everything together for me.
Rodney Adkins has a couple different songs that mean a lot to me. The song cleaning the gun has a big impact on me though. This song always reminds me of how my dad was with me. He is very protective of me. I remember when I was little my dad and I would ride in his truck and sing this song together. It was a moment of us bonding together and it brought us closer. Many of Rodney's song have to do with family. All these songs just remind me that family is super important and that I'll be okay as long as I have them.
Rodney Adkins is one of my favorite singers too, I love country music. It also reminds me of my grandparents that I don't see often anymore. I wrote about my grandma in my journal so they're kind of similar :)
